2010 House Bill 6470

Authorize discretionary criminal penalties for “cyberbullying”

Introduced in the House

Sept. 21, 2010

Introduced by Rep. Jennifer Haase (D-32)

In general, subject to the permission of the victim and the prosecutor, and with other limitations, a court could impose sanctions in a way that the violation doesn’t become a part of the perpetrator’s “permanent record”.
