To include Salvia divinorum as a schedule 1 controlled substance, meaning it would be in the same illegal drug category as cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, LSD, marijuana, etc. Salvia divinorum, also known as “Diviner’s Sage,” is a psychoactive drug that is ingested by chewing or smoking.
