Create “Great Lakes State Park”

To establish that the “Great Lakes State Park” proposed by Senate Bill 429 is to be managed by the Department of Natural Resources “to protect and preserve its natural features and to enhance recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, swimming, and scuba diving.” The Park would comprise the bottoms of the Great Lakes within the boundaries of Michigan.
