2005 Senate Bill 911

Revise billboard regulations

Introduced in the Senate

Dec. 1, 2005

Introduced by Sen. Jud Gilbert (R-25)

To establish that if passed Senate Bill 568 would not apply to certain areas administered under a vegetation management program. SB 568 would allow billboard owners to apply for a state permit to remove vegetation blocking a sign until 2009, and is tied to a bill that imposes a moratorium on any new billboard permits in the state until that year.
