2004 House Bill 5829

Revise territory annexation voting procedures

Introduced in the House

April 28, 2004

Introduced by Rep. Craig DeRoche (R-38)

To establish that if all the eligible voters in a special annexation, incorporation, or disincorporation election have voted absentee, the polling place need not be open on the election day. Some of these elections affect a very small number of people, and so have very small numbers of eligible voters.
