To revise and add to a state system whereby farms are inspected and their compliance with certain conservation, environmental risk, soil nutrient protocols, etc. is verified. Farms that are verified receive qualified exemptions from certain environmental law penalties. The bill would create a "Michigan Environmental Assurance Advisory Council" and program.
