To revise details of a 2018 law that prohibits insurance companies from requiring a family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics physician to hold one of the various professional association “board certifications” as a condition getting reimbursed for a patient treatment claim unless this is specifically required for licensure. The bill would extend to ban to all “allopathic or osteopathic” physicians. Official Text and Analysis.
