2014 House Bill 5959

Make homosexuals a civil rights law "protected class"

Introduced in the House

Nov. 13, 2014

Introduced by Rep. Frank Foster (R-107)

To add “sexual orientation” to the characteristics that define membership in a protected class, against whom it is a crime to discriminate under the state’s Elliott-Larsen civil rights law.
